TWYNING CLUB RULES TO BE MENTIONED:

TWYNING IS A MILE LONG. ANY MEMBER CAUGHT CHEATING WILL BE SEVERELY DEALT WITH.

 

CLUB RULES CAN BE VIEWED IN FULL ON THE 'MEMBERSHIP PAGE' ON THIS WEBSITE.

 

ONE LINE IN USE.

A competitor shall only have in use one rod or pole, one line and one single hook at any one time but may have other rods or poles and tackle assembled for use in position behind them, providing that no such other tackles are baited. 


KEEPNETS.

Remove the keepnet from the water collapsing the net down until the 2nd or 3rd from the bottom can be reached from the inside. Pull the chosen ring through the top ring and then gently slide the fish into the weigh net. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES must the keepnet be removed from the water and fish tipped down from bottom to top. 

 

PARKING.

When fishing, please park close to the river, and try not to drive over the long growing grass in the field. (This is cut and sold off by the farmer)

COMPLAINTS ABOUT OTHER ANGLERS SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION OF THE MATCH ORGANISER.

PENNYWORT.
The Environment Agency were notified last season of the presence of Pennywort on our river at Twyning. It has disappeared over the winter, but it's return is expected.
Should anyone see the presence of this plant, please notify a member of the committee
.

TWYNING ACCESS WILL BE DECIDED AT THE START OF THE NEW SEASON 2024/2025.

THE GATE PADLOCK CODE HAS CHANGED. PLEASE CONTACT JOHN SWAIN OR A MEMBER OF THE COMMITTEE FOR THE NEW CODE.

(ALL FARMERS USE THIS PADLOCK AND CODE)

THIS AREA IS A SITE OF SPECIFIC SCENTIFIC INTEREST, AND WE ARE ONLY ALLOWED ACCESS AT THE FARMERS INVITATION.

ANY PROBLEMS CAUSED BY MEMBERS MAY SEE US LOSE THE WATERS.

1. PLEASE STAY ON WORN TRACK ACROSS THE MEADOWS, AND FOLLOW THE USUAL ROUTE DO NOT CROSS THE MEADOWS.

2. ALONG THE BANK STAY AS CLOSE TO THE RIVER AS SAFE TO DO SO.

3. PARK CLOSE TO THE RIVER AND AVOID DOUBLE PARKING.

WE MUST KEEP OFF THE GROW GRASS FOR LIVESTOCK, AS BEST AS POSSIBLE UNTIL IT IS HARVESTED)
