Droitwich Canal at Porters Mill

The Droitwich Canal at Porters Mill is the venue for 'Knock Up' matches on occasional Wednesdays.
 
Club Members who are pleasure fishing can also drop in to any available peg as agreed between the Committee and Match organiser.

Wednesday Knock Ups at Porters Mill will run weekly from 4 March 2026. 

 

Members wishing to organise their own Knock Ups should meet on the Car Park at 08.30.

 

Mick Watson will provide beam scales if he is phoned before any Wednesday on 07938 902408

  • Peg repairs and strimming: Please read Health and Safety Risk Assessment here

  • WARNING: The “dead” reeds at Porters are deceptively sharp. Do not attempt to pull up dead reeds unless wearing strong gloves! 

  • IMPORTANT: IT HAS BEEN REQUESTED THAT ALL ANGLERS DO NOT THROW UNUSED BAIT INTO PORTERS MILL CANAL AFTER FISHING.
