27 anglers turned out on a moody Droitwich canal. Days of constant rain had done little to change the clarity of the water and most participants struggled for bites. Runaway leader was Paul Wilson on Peg 2, fishing long pole and pinkie to the far reeds. Very few quality fish showed and everyone was eager to get back to the presentation at the Fernhill Heath club, ably conducted by Mick Watson and Mike Adams.
