WEDNESDAY KNOCK UP RESULTS  -               HERIOTTS POOL 22ND  MARCH

After a long, hard Winter on Porters Mill, we were very much hoping that today's match would give us all plenty of bites and plenty of fish.

It actually fished a lot harder than expected with small numbers of bream and carp making up the prize-winning weights (although several anglers hooked much larger carp, some of them landed to 15 lbs +).

These,of course, couldn't be weighed in due to the fishery rules prohibiting their retention in keepnets. 

Overall winner Craig had a few early bream followed by a late run of carp on maggot in the side.

Second place went to Alan Turner who fished mainly meat in the side for a majority catch of carp.

A very pleasant day - mild with some sunshine.

Back to Porters Mill next week- 8.30 draw.
